Adley Atkin, LMSW

Brooklyn & Online

“Therapy provides an opportunity to discover the seeds of who we are as people and how our experiences thus far have shaped our lives.

For Adley (they/he), psychotherapy is a space where one can go when major life transitions, difficulties in relationships, creative blocks, issues of identity and life events feel insurmountable. They believe that it is a space to explore ourselves and why we respond to the world in the ways that we do, building a deeper understanding of who we are.

Adley’s work has been in Community Mental Health working with individuals, couples, and families on issues of depression and anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ issues, creative block, complex trauma and PTSD and interpersonal relationships. They primarily work in psychodynamic modalities with an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens.
