Kelbe (she/her) has worked with individuals suffering from severe mental illness and substance use disorders as well as with teens and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety and life transitions. Kelbe is also experienced in working with those in relationships with issues surrounding intimacy and conflict. She has completed certifications in couple’s therapy at The Training Institute for Mental Health in order to advance her training in relationship work. Kelbe is passionate about working with individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. She has provided therapy and support to many LGBTQ+-identified individuals surrounding issues of trauma, identity development and self-exploration and the process and experience of coming out. In working with clients, Kelbe utilizes such practices as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and EFT. From her time in the Peace Corps, she gained an encompassing worldview that informs her outlook on therapy.
