As a therapist, Sarah (she/her) grounds her work in trauma-informed, relational, and liberation-based frameworks, while incorporating modalities such a psychodynamic and insight-oriented therapies, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, mindfulness practices, Motivational Interviewing, and family systems approaches. Sarah embraces opportunities to collaborate with clients on developing goals and individualized treatment planning.

Additionally, Sarah researches psychological health outcomes amongst multiply marginalized populations and mental health care provider competencies. Prior to joining City Therapy, she received training in Feminist Therapy and Relational Cultural Therapy. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds with various concerns including depression, trauma, anxiety, discrimination, ADHD, body image concerns, and life adjustments.
