Danielle (she/her) is dedicated to empowering individuals through compassionate, innovative and playful approaches to therapy. Her therapeutic style is grounded in psychodynamic theory and attachment-based approaches.
Danielle creates a warm, safe environment where her clients can explore how their unique histories, relational patterns and narratives influence their relationships with themselves and others. Danielle strives to use playful and creative techniques that promote self-expression and exploration and strongly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and growth.
Danielle earned her MSW from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and holds a Bachelor’s in English, with minors in Africana Studies and Gender, Sexuality, Feminist Studies. Prior to her career as a psychotherapist, she taught healthy sexuality, community organizing, and STEM. She also has experience working with foreign-born victims of human trafficking and individuals with HIV and providing doula services for adults and adolescents.
