Francesca (she/her) provides a non-judgemental space for you to express and explore your emotions, the challenges you face in the present or have faced in the past, your coping strategies, your history and your identity. She supports and challenges you to discover and clarify any and all aspects of who you are as well as what stands in the way of enjoyment and fulfillment in your life. Francesca draws from a range of modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy and solutions focused therapy and operates from an anti-racist, intersectional feminist, LGBTQ+ identity-affirming, trauma-informed lens.
Francesca graduated from Reed College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and obtained her Master of Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter. Before changing careers to become a therapist, she spent 7 years working in art and digital media. She has experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds, facing challenges including trauma, unhealthy familial and romantic relationships, addiction, court involvement, unstable housing, depression and anxiety.
