James (he/him) is compassionate and empathetic, and strives to make every session a non-judgmental, accepting space. He has experience in a wide range of challenges around depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity, individual challenges, and low self-worth/self-esteem. He utilizes a culturally competent, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed framework.

James draws from psychodynamic therapy while integrating various modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Insight-Oriented Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He works with clients to understand how their histories have impacted who they are today. His ultimate goal is to help you make conscious choices that help you feel better about your life, increase self-awareness, strengthen your resiliency, and advance emotional growth while discovering your authentic self.
