“I am committed to creating a collaborative relationship with clients by utilizing a strengths-based and trauma informed approach to therapy.”
Nora (she/her) believes in a collaborative, strengths based, and trauma informed approach to psychotherapy. Nora has experience working with clients to process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and individual challenges. She believes in empowering clients to co-create a therapeutic approach that will inspire them to reflect on their experiences and move toward the life, interpersonal relationships, and goals they want.
Nora employs the use of multiple therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy through an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens. As a long time Yoga practitioner and instructor, Nora is passionate about exploring the mind-body connection and mindfulness techniques in the therapeutic setting. By destigmatizing the use of mental health services, Nora hopes to encourage everyone to care for their mental health as well as their physical health.
