At the cross-section of mental health, feminism, and navigating intersectional identities as a minority woman, Simran (she/her) strives to create a safe and welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities through culturally sensitive and LGBTQI+ friendly approaches.
Simran takes a holistic approach to therapy including mindfulness and meditation. She is trained in multiple theories such as humanistic theory and relational-cultural theory. She also draws from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, and trauma informed therapy.
